The way instruments are rented today can’t keep up with the increasing pace of our everyday lives. From travelling across town, to waiting in line, then to only to find your instrument out of stock, it’s frustrating and time-consuming. We set out to simplify the process. With online ordering and free delivery, getting what you need has never been faster or more convenient.
Who We Are
New York String Source started in 2019 for musicians, artists, and students. After working in the NYC instrument rental industry we saw first hand how intimidating the process can be to outsiders. Often parents and students get bad advice, the wrong instrument, or get lost in the shuffle. We decided NYC deserved better.
What We Started
We simplified the rental process by cutting out the traveling, waiting, and confusion. Instead of trekking through the elements, now your instrument comes to you. Ordering from your phone to home, office or child’s school means you don’t have to interrupt your day or even leave the house.
